The Woodford Inn | A Kentucky Bed & Breakfast Inn

The Woodford Inn is a historic Kentucky bed & breakfast nestled among the beautiful horse farms of central Kentucky. We’re located just outside of Lexington, KY in the heart of historic Versailles. The Woodford Inn is just a short drive to several famous area attractions including the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Race Course, and several of the bourbon distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

As you drive through Lexington and Versailles to reach our bed & breakfast, you’ll pass by some of the most beautiful and prestigious thoroughbred breeding farms in the world. Dubbed the “Horse Capital of the World” horse farms have been part of the Bluegrass since it was first settled.

The history of our Kentucky bed & breakfast is as deep as the area surrounding it. The property dates back to 1876, and the current building was constructed by the Cleveland Orphanage Institution in 1926. The building, a three and a half story Dutch Colonial Revival building, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Cleveland House.
